Berlin's Restaurant Supply

"Used" to be one of my favorite supply stores in the area. I had been shopping there for 15+ years and recommended them to so many people.  However, they have recently changed and no longer will sell to the public.  i.e. non-business owners or individuals without a business tax id.   Even though they recently added a giant sign outside that says open to the public. US Foods CHEF'STORE will have to do.

Has all kinds of stuff and just when you think you’ve seen it all you go around another corner and there is a completely different caveat of supplies and utensils.

They REALLY have everything! Open to the trades and the public with great pricing and knowledgeable staff. An excellent place to visit if you're planning a wedding, shower, corporate event or anything you want to be remembered.

This company has extremely poor business ethics and it is NOT recommended that you purchase anything that must be delivered with this company. My church purchased a commercial refrigerator and paid for a delivery fee. The refrigerator was delivered and immediately started leaking all around the doors when set up. The company was called and they advised to put pitchers of water to stop the leaking, which did not work. The manufacturer sent a technician who diagnosed the unit with doors that would not seal, damaged frame in the top of the unit, a motor that was running "rough" and vibrations under the bottom. Awesome store. Open to the public! The employees were so very helpful. I could have spent 4 hours and several thousand dollars in there easily. We are from Northern Virginia, where there are NO restaurant supply stores that are open to the public. We do not own a restaurant, just like to have great products to cook with. Berlin's certainly met our needs of our 02/13/17 visit.
