Bella Gusto Italian Deli & Pizzeria

This was my first time here, I googled A good Italian beef near me and Bella Augusto came up. We’re always up to trying a new place. I ordered pizza. My husband ordered the Italian with hot Jara and of course we had to try one of the meatballs. The pizza is in a brick fire oven and it was made to perfection. The under crust was just a touch crispy, which was perfect. The Italian meatball was out of this world has to be homemade sauce. And the Italian beef was amazing. We literally took pictures of everything. We could send it to all our friends and this will definitely be a place we come much more often on regular basis. The food itself was kinda ok but the serving size was incredibly small. The Internet advertised one price but after getting to the restaurant the menu price was different. Then after my items were punched into the register the prices were even higher than what was advertised in the menu. I mentioned something at the time of purchase and I was informed the menu was old. Halfway through my meal the cashier came over and gave me a dollar bill because and said the employees talked and agreed I was over charged? 3 stars because I got a dollar back but who knows how many people were ripped off before I mentioned something. I'm still not entirely sure how much I paid for this tiny sandwich but it was definitely too much. This sandwich and a non alcoholic drink was $19

Good place for a pizza! Tables are first come, first serve... so grab a table right away. Long line to order sometimes.. lots of people order takeout too. I was expecting more of a market, but there isn't much to look at. We'd like to come back to try their sandwiches!

We were looking for an Italian restaurant to compare with where we normally go. So … we googled Italian in Oconomowoc. Bella Gusto gets high reviews so we decided to try it. We showed up early (4:30 pm) on a Friday night so we could get parking and hopefully a table. Found parking right away. Walked in and there was one large table seated and 2 other ladies. We sat at a four top. This restaurant is very small. If you want to go, get there early. There is no wait staff. You grab a menu, walk up to the cashier, place your order, put your menus away, and have a seat. A gentleman brought our food out. I ordered the Spaghetti Aglio E Olio … it was drenched in olive oil. I ate some and took the rest home. I would not order again. My husband ordered Grandmas Meatball Sandwich. He said it was good

The food was excellent; we had our artisan pizza topped w/ mozzarella, pizza sauce, onions, mushrooms, sausage & pepperoni~ NO skimping on ingredients! Hot Mozzarella sticks were the best as they were wrapped and not smothered in bread crumbs; definite favorite. Servers and Manager were attentive & engaging. Everyone hustled making sure customers were quickly served & given freshly made food the service was fast. What a gem that was welcoming to all groups from family, couples to friends. Amazing Italian Wedding soup & Italian salads. Great selection of wines and nonalcoholic drinks. If you want quality food, friendly atmosphere & authenticity then you’ll love Bella’s.
