Beacon Seafood Pub

Venue was very nice - higher, behind Portside with a great water view and nice AC and breezy comfortable. Food was good. Prices good. Lobster roll was ok. Steak and cheese was better. Service was very good. Definitely would go back.

I liked everything about the staff and the atmosphere, my wife got the Mahi BLT which was the best thing we had, I had a Lobsta Roll that was ok, I'm not much on shredded lobster, our friend had fish tacos that were good but didn't have enough fish and too much slaw. What really set me off was when we got the bill that had a service charge on it of 4% with a note that said credit card charge, we do not remember seeing a sign that there was a charge to use your credit card or was not told there is a charge or a discount for cash. I'm ok with paying a credit card charge if I'm told about it and charge cards charge all businesses I know 2.5%, so 4% unacceptable. Also the drink prices are not on the menu and they were $10 each.

We really enjoyed being able to sit outside on a beautiful evening. Our server was friendly and engaging. The prices were reasonable. As a wine drinker, I would appreciate a better selection of wines. The menu selections were rather limited. I got the shrimp tacos. I had asked to leave off the sauce, and they still had sauce, but it was okay. Overall, we liked this restaurant and plan to go back.

Saw Annalyse Marie perform there and she was amazing. Ordered the most juiciest burger I've ever had, so yummy, it was huge.

This place has potential but the food was not good at all. Very below average. The lobster roll was imitation lobster, the corn fritters were frozen, the crab dip was all cream cheese and the French dip tasted like a steakum. The server was friendly, great location and good drinks.
