Bartram House Bakery

Food: we ordered breakfast burrito and eggs benedict, both a cut above other places in terms of quality and quantity. Also the pain au chocolate pastry was better than any we had in Paris the week before (not kidding!). GM Brandon was very courteous and his team was attentive.

Nom nom! Outside of my everyday price range (but I am notoriously cheap), but price is in line with the quality. I had a nummy Cuban. And my teen gives 2 thumps uo for his BLT (it really did look good).

This was my first time eating at Bartram House Bakery. There was a wide variety on the menu. My group purchased a salad, a wrap, and a sandwich. They were all very good. And the bakery items looked delicious. I will be getting the carrot cake on my next visit.

After years of passing this by as I roamed the plaza, I felt the urge to see what was beyond the doors. I didn’t know anything about the bakery/restaurant prior to opening the doors. I really wanted breakfast but expected I had missed it and the menu would be lunch. To my surprise they were “still serving breakfast!” I ordered a build your own omelet feta, ham, mushrooms spinach tomato! Fresh and fluffy with a side of fruit! Yummy! Service was great and meal was delivered to my table in literally minutes. Now I am contemplating selecting a scrumptious dessert to feast upon later! I cannot believe that I have been missing out on this little gem of a restaurant/bakery! UPDATE - Tuesday May 13: My extremely positive visit the prior week, prompted me to stop in on Tuesday morning after PT.

This one was disappointing. The food was fine, nothing special and almost not worth a return trip with other great bakeries/dining options in the area. It was the service though that guaranteed I won't be back. The people who were working here were entirely unpleasant. It was as if their goal was to make people as uncomfortable as they could with an astonishing amount of back-handed comments. I think if I'm going to pay too much for an aggressively average breakfast sandwich I'll probably just go somewhere where the employees can at least pretend to be decent human beings.
