Barefoot Hills Hotel

We visited the Barefoot Hills Hotel for oir Anniversary trip and were pleasantly surprised. This property is a hidden jewel. At the top of Mountain with an Amazing View and excellent costumer service. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The personel attending the property were very welcoming and make us feel like home. We will definetly be back and recommend to anyone.

This is a beautiful place to get away, but not too far from downtown Dahlonega. The rooms were spacious and very clean. It was decorated outside for Christmas 🎄 It's a great place to relax. The staff we met were very nice. There's gorgeous mountain views and you can't beat the price.

We carried my parents to Dahlonega to look at Christmas lights and I wanted a nice place to stay. After reading good reviews, I booked 2 rooms at Barefoot Hills Hotel. The rooms were nice, clean and roomy. The scenery was beautiful over looking the mountains. Jamie at the front desk was very nice and helpful. We look forward to staying here again.

I made a recent trip to northern Georgia and chose Barefoot Hills Hotel to spend one of my nights. The property is absolutely gorgeous, with string lights, a swing bench, and a hammock. The location is ideal for many hiking trails in the area, and additionally the hotel is actually offset from the main road by a couple minutes which in my opinion enhances the whole experience. No cars or lights or noise, just a nice quiet peaceful time. The room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The pillows were really nice too. I slept amazing! If i were to make another visit to northern GA i would strongly consider staying here again!

Beautiful, quiet location away from the road- which is not a busy road. View is lovely from the back deck. The staff was very helpful and courteous. They arranged horseback riding for us, and we had an amazing ride! The horses were well kept and the stable staff were knowledgeable and easy going. Can't wait to come back!
