Bar Harbor Lobster Co.

Had the Surf and Turf burger and the Captains plate. Lobster was tender and tasty. The use a beer batter, which was soggy on fish and shrimp. Very fresh Fish/shrimp and scallops.. The tarter sauce was tangy. Also had the chowder which had bacon bits, tasty appetizer. Very good blueberry pie..

I loved the outdoor seating! The server kept asking if we were ready to order. We told her we wanted to have some cocktails first, and then we would order. The rum punch, painkiller, and blueberry margarita were all great! The lobster bisque, however, was lacking. There was only one small piece of lobster in it, although the flavor was great. The fish and chips were pretty large and tasted great. Overall great place that we would visit again if in the area.

We chose Bar Harbor Lobster Co for lunch after a day in Acadia. And boy was it the right decision! Our waitress Kari was wonderful from the start. She let us bring our old pup on the patio and immediately brought out treats and water. She was attentive and hilarious! We ordered the Twin Lobster Boil and it was worth every penny. Plenty of food for 2 people (maybe even 3). The music playing on the speakers was perfect for the ambience and at the perfect low volume. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Bar Harbor Lobster Co, if you’re listening, give Kari a raise!

This gotta be the best place for seafood hands down. On top of savoring delicious dishes, we’ve had one of the best service as well. Ms Kari was on top of everything. I think you should definitely give it shot and stop by, you won’t regret, and I’m that confident to promise you that. Everyone was wonderful in this location. Thank you Kari for that amazing Maine culinary experience. We’ve felt it being in Maine for sure ☺️.

Anytime I can order a menu item and ask for a change I love it, but when they do it without hesitation and nail if, that's 5 stars. Instead of chicken on my salad I ask if they could do grilled fish instead, yup, not a problem they said and the charge was minor. Walk a little out of town, well worth it.
