Bar 'Cino Newport

It was all phenomenal from start to finish. Very cool open kitchen setup. Quick attentive friendly service. Creative refreshing artisan cocktail menu. The best however was the food. It was all great from tasty clams, great zesty Caesar salad, perfectly cooked shrimp, rich hearty short rib and perfectly cooked short rib. Ohhh. Almost forgot the fantastic home made chips. So good and so happy to hear there are other locations nearer to our home. Top notch and marks

My mom came to visit me for her birthday. Of all the times we’ve been to Newport, we’ve never found anywhere we liked for dinner. So my goal was to try a few spots with her since it’s off season and easier to get a reservation. She loves pasta and so I thought this could be a good option. From the moment we walked in, service was so friendly but not over the top. I started with a delicious sweet potato vegetable soup. I got the braised short rib and my mom choose the bolognese. We both loved our entrees and found them to have a lot of flavor and were well prepared. The vibe was slightly noisy but not to where we couldn’t talk. Just fun and busy. We shared a slice of delicious cake to celebrate. We were both really impressed with the whole experience and will definitely be returning!!

I have to say that this was THE BEST MEAL I have had in a bit. The potato chips amazing, Caesar salad was phenomenal and the shrimp were perfect, short rib was best I’ve ever had. I wasn’t drinking but first Mocktail I’ve ordered was great too. Staff and atmosphere, wonderful. Can’t say enough good things!! Can’t wait to try the Boston location!

We had an excellent time at Barcino last night. First time trying the grilled pizza and it was amazing. The crust was so light and thin, perfect for an appetizer. Bartenders were fantastic and the atmosphere was so great. We met some really cool people sitting at the bar. Such a great experience

My husband and I got married on 9/21/25 and did a “mini-moon” to Newport and we visited Bar Cino on 9/22/25! We were so excited to celebrate our first day married and the staff at bar cino was so kind and Cassandra and Molly took care of our bill! We couldn’t have been more grateful to Bar Cino, Cassandra and Molly for being so so kind. The food was absolutely spectacular and the service even better. We are so looking forward to coming again! ❤️
