As someone who was born and raised in Long Beach, Baked By The Ocean is the kind of place this town didn't know it desperately needed. I can say with full confidence, we've never had anything like this... it's pastel, playful and full of personality, from the bubbles outside, to the "hey beach!" greeting you when you walk in ... yes "beach" get into it. The desserts are out of control, beautiful and indulgent. The frozen drinks? dangerously good & dangerously CUTE! The vibe? immaculate. Every year, I order my birthday cake from here, and every year I’m blown away. Somehow, they manage to make each cake better than the last. Not only are the cakes stunning, but the flavors are also incredible—moist, fresh, and made with top-quality ingredients. You can really taste the difference. Absolutely obsessed with Baked by the Ocean!!! It’s a staple in Long Beach and not your average bakery!!! You can tell the owner, Cat, has poured her heart and soul into every detail of the shop, from the stylish decor to the tasty treats…I promise you will not be disappointed!!!! I have ordered several cakes from Baked and every single one was exactly what I envisioned. Most recently, Cat did my brother’s wedding cake (a Halloween theme) and it was the star of the party!!!! Everyone raved about the flavor and the design was exactly what the bride envisioned!!!! Everyone that works there is an absolute doll and I’ve never had a baked good that I didn’t like. Treat yourself and head to Baked by the Ocean ASAP!!!!
