Customer Reviews
If you like middle eastern flavors or want to try it out, this is the place. The food is very flavorful, no fuzz or flare but it hits the spot. The prices are fair for the portion and quality you are getting. One thing of note, their restroom is clean. Most of us appreciate that. Also, the gentleman in charge of the counter is pleasant. Give them a try if you’re curious, you won’t be disappointed.
Loved our experience at Babylon! It’s a wonderful, family-run place with such friendly service. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions , absolutely delicious! We ordered 5 pieces of falafel and got 6, the chef said everyone should get an equal share, which made us smile. 😊. He billed us only for 5 falafels ! The place had a steady stream of people coming in for pickups, which says a lot about how loved it is. Highly recommend for anyone craving fresh, hearty Mediterranean food!
On a long drive I stopped in for dinner. The class and quality of food is way better than you would perhaps expect from its small location. I had the Babylon. The meat was spiced to perfection, tender and moist. The owner takes great care to deliver a very high quality product and his passion for the food is obvious. The tzatziki (jajeek) is freshly made with a rich texture and robust taste. Highly recommend.
The older gentleman at the front was friendly. The set up is pretty cool. I personally did not like the food. I feel like it could have used more spices to represent the food of the region better. We had 2 dishes and both could have used more flavor. They also don't have regular/Tap water they will give you bottled water and charge you for it.
The menu is very hard to read because it is high on the wall and so far behind the counter. You can't tell what comes in each dish, because it is not listed underneath the pictures. There is only a photo. I ordered the wrong dish becuae I assumed it had the food in it that I wanted. So, I ended up paying a lot of money for the wrong food. There should be a menu that customers can see and understand. Otherwise you just waste your money.
