Came here during a visit to Seattle for a conference and dined at the bar. The food was excellent (I tried a dish based on the bartender’s suggestion). i wanted something spicy as had been eating bland food at the conference and he had the kitchen add some side sauces (siracha, red chillies etc that fit the bill) The decor is great as was the service. Almost went back the following day as I was in the neighborhood but went to Carmello’s instead Highly recommended!

The food was plated well and looked appealing. However, everything we ordered (Bun Cha Hanoi Bowl, Mi Bo Vien, Bun Cha Gio, and Crispy Imperial Rolls) was mid. I’m not exactly sure how to describe it. It just felt like it was missing the flavors that make it authentic. Maybe for someone who has never had Vietnamese food before, this is a good entry point.

We are at the tail end of our trip to Seattle and we’re SO happy we decided to stop by Ba Bar before we left to return back to Hawaii. A friend recommended Ba Bar to us and my family and I were craving Vietnamese food, so we decided to give it a try. We stopped in for lunch and had the best dining experience we’ve ever experienced in Seattle. The food was seriously top-notch; my family and I devoured our entire 3 course meal. There wasn’t a drop left of our pho bowls, we ended up ordering another serving of the Saigon wings (MUST TRY!) and I even bought a bag full of their macarons to bring home to the island as gifts. Our food was delicious, but the incredible service we received from Michelle is what made it all the more special. Michelle was so attentive, she gave us great recommendati

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is one of our favorite local spots. The food is amazing, good service and fun atmosphere with a slappin’ vibe. The crispy imperial rolls were generously stuffed, the beef/lamb rolls were perfectly seasoned, the combo platter was huge and delicious, and the braised beef soup special was a delicious and delightful way to stay warm on a cold, rainy Friday night. We love BaBar for the best Vietnamese food in the city. Also, when you compare prices to other Cap Hill restaurants, their prices are much better for the food and service you get. Also their playlist is fantastic! A good mixture of pop music classics and current Vietnamese pop!

I ordered through Uber Eats. The food is below average by Vietnamese standards—at best about 30% authentic—with some odd modifications. The house meat patty has an unusual, off flavor. The sauce, which is the soul of this dish, is a complete miss: underseasoned and lacking depth. I honestly can’t understand why this place has so many good ratings; perhaps they’re from people who haven’t tried proper Vietnamese food. There was also no tamper-proof seal on my delivery, which is disappointing for a takeout order. That said, the restaurant looks nice, which may explain some of the hype.
