Delicious homemade chips, variety of salsas and tasty entree options. Pictured is the taco salad (with crunchy shell - you'll need to tell them Northern Style). The server was attentive and got our orders correct. The menu even has American options for kids (chicken strips, cheese quesadilla and grilled cheese).

the salsa was to die for--spicy and medium-hot. the chili relleno was standard fare and the chicken ench was flaked with just the right amount of Verde. the frozen margarita was cold and the Cadillac on the side was as ordered! afternoon--not too many people and just the right amount of mariachi musica!$36 with the $14 margarita--reasonable for a Mexican officiated like me!

Super cool place with amazing decor & true Mexican ambiance. Great tradional music playing & they serve Horchata! YUM!! I forgot to ask if they make their own tortillas, darn it. My dining partner ordered a taco salad with beef, but he was disappointed to find out that it was chicken. He said the error was no big deal & that the chicken was deliciously different, tasting. I ordered of course Horchata to drink & a #3 off the lunch special menu. I was going to order a #13 originally but our waiter said, all tamals are made with pork & I didn't want pork. My #3 was a cheese enchilada, a tostada which comes with rice & beans. My first pleasant taste was that their enchilada sauce, was not like ALL the other places I have eaten at. I love this place! Their tamales are the BEST, they have sauce with the perfect balance between spice and no spice, and delicious cheese, and the tamale itself is perfect for dinner. You can also always get it without anything extra. But the people who work here are very kind and welcoming, it's a calm and clean environment, I really recommend going here to eat. I will go back too!
