Autentico - Real Peruvian Flavor

Tried this little homy and humble restaurant on a rainy weekend and loved the food. As we are not native so can’t comment on whether it’s authentic but we saw a lot of them there and figure it must have been, the portions are more than generous and meet dishes super tasty. We particularly enjoyed the special grilled beef heart. The staff were very polite and attentive all in all a lovely meal and we will for sure go back!

We love the ceviche and the chicken soup at Autentico in Great Falls, VA (formerly Pio Pio). We first found this place a couple of years ago, and it’s been a favorite ever since. I really enjoy their fish dishes, especially the mahi-mahi, but our go-tos are the paella, the seafood dishes, and the ceviche — everything is super fresh and flavorful. Another must-have for us is their chicken soup; I don’t remember all the exact names on the menu, but every soup and side we’ve tried has been excellent.

Amazing food at a reasonable price and great customer service! The only thing I’d suggest is reducing the salt in the sautéed vegetables served with the roasted chicken because it was too salty. Other than that, everything was excellent!

This is a place well worth going to. The service was warm and friendly; Danny, the chef/owner gave recommendations on what to order. And EVERYTHING was fresh and delicious. Excellent all around!!!

Family friendly atmosphere. Food was great. We brought a birthday cake in and they cut and served it. Ceviche replaced tilapia with mahi mahi is always good
