Arturo Joe's

This place is an Italian treat. My best friend, his wife, one of their married sons along with my wife and I enjoyed a couples night out at Arturo Joe's. The service was prompt aided by reservations. We were met by our server within a few minutes who was attentive. The food took about 15 minutes to arrive but seemed to be less due to the delicious appetizers. The portion of the appetizers were not large compared to the price but tasty. I ordered the steak which was roughly 3.5 stars out of 5. It was not as tender as it should have been given the price and quality. The sweet potato fries were amazing! The Tiramisu for Two was enough for Four and quite the epic conclusion to a overall wonderful experience. All of this was situated in a beautifully thought out designed location. Recommended.

Arturo’s is a nice restaurant. It has a romantic, classy vibe. The food was good. The stuffed mushroom caps, pesto fries were a nice start. Those fries would definitely benefit from a fresh squeeze of lemon and a side of marinara. The cavateli bolognese was good and very filling. The haddock was buttery with bread crumbs and tasted fresh. The Steak Dominick had good flavor but it was tough and there was a fair amount of gristle. A party of 35 sat before us so I am going to give the wait staff some consideration. Our entire meal end to end was 2 1/2 hours. Even with help, the drinks were slow to materialize with long waits in between and at one point we were like, where is our food. I was dying to leave by the end. Then, it was a pain to get the check. First time here. Great service at the bar and from our table server. My wife and son enjoyed their meals. I got a bacon and clam pizza and it was very dry.

Excellent classic Italian!!! Good sized portions. Waitress was excellent!! Atmosphere rated a 4 only because we would have like a little more light. Otherwise, good! I would go again!

The gorgonzola steak was spectacular tonight. I usually get a veal or bolognese but the menu encourages new choices. This is our choice for italian in Narragansett. Very inviting tonight in the storm.
