Artful Lodger Inn

Me and my wife stayed here for 2 nights on our New England road trip. There was plenty of parking at the back of the property. The location is great for local food and sightseeing. It's specially close to the cliff walk if you're feeling energetic. The room and the building itself felt just like somebody's home and Heidi and her friend made the best pancakes ever and we're really welcoming. Thanks for a great stay. I'd 100% recommend.

I chose the Artful Lodger for a two night getaway to celebrate our 29th anniversary. Located a street away from the Elms, it is an adorable boutique inn with lots of character and charm. The Havisham suite was perfect, including a spa tub and gas fireplace. Breakfast was provided in an upper room with a fantastic view and both the innkeeper and cook were informative and accommodating. We had the best time.

A very comfortable bed, good water pressure in the shower, soft towels, a private parking lot directly lot directly behind the building, and great views of Newport. The Artful Lodger is the quintessential cozy Bed & Breakfast.

Great location, the free hop on/off trolley stop a couple of blocks away. The free off street parking was great. Lots of narrow stairs. Heidi was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was freshly made and delicious. The iInn is centrally located. Everything look clean and welcoming. We stayed in the front 1st floor room. You definitely could hear the traffic. Only negative besides the road noise was the pillows were not great.

This place was seriously perfect. I had never stayed at a Bed and Breakfast before, and honestly was a little hesitant, but overall I loved the experience. The location was perfect, we were here for a wedding and able to walk to everything. The rooms were clean. The staff were so friendly. We really enjoyed the breakfast in the conservatory, and they keep a bottle of wine out for you to sip and enjoy the view any time of the day. Would definitely stay again next time we are in Newport.
