Almondy Inn

The Almondy Inn was as advertised! My wife and I arrived late in the evening. Everything was beautifully lighted, warm, and inviting. The Inn was spotlessly clean. Our room was as nice as the pictures. Our host was exceptional! She was welcoming and courteous, very helpful with tips on places to eat and sights to see. Breakfast was delicious and the French pastries were amazing! We would absolutely recommend and stay there again.

Absolutely amazing! We celebrated my daughter’s birthday at the almondy inn. Shelby and Jermome were so accommodating from the time of check in. As being our first time visiting Newport, they were so helpful navigating us the best way to our choice of attractions. Including best routes and free bus service. I will truly miss waking up to the smell of an elegant breakfast, afternoon cookies and evening cheese and wine. It was perfect, looking forward to celebrating with almondy inn in the near future.

What a wonderful experience. The BnB is beautifully decorated for the holidays. The innkeerpers are very people oriented with amazing attention to detail. They are very knowledgeable of the area with great suggestions for meals and things to do and see. The breakfast on both mornings was very good. The room we were in had a great view of the bay and was equipped with everything needed to make our stay first rate. We will be staying at the Almondy on our next visit to Newport.

We had an amazing time at the Almondy Inn in December. We came to get in the Christmas spirit. It is beautiful and the rooms are super clean and comfortable. We stayed in the Burgundy Suite which was spacious and beautifully decorated. The breakfasts were delicious !!! Jerome took amazing care of us. The Inn is just a block over from Thames so everything is in walking distance. Highly recommend and would definitely return!

Great place to stay! Can't give it a high enough rating. We stayed with another couple in the Captain's Quarters room which was actually a 2-bedroom apartment - kitchen and all. Location is great - you can walk to all the great shopping and restaurants. The host, Shelby, could not have been any better. She made wonderful breakfasts and was always available to make our stay the best. Facilities were great and atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Will return.
