Allen's Chinese Restaurant

I’m sorry Allen’s, but what is this garbage you sold to me? It’s completely inedible! The chicken looks and tastes to be just boiled and the sauce looks like snot and again, inedible. Luckily, my boyfriend ordered something that I was able to eat that we shared. Not a happy customer. Pictures are what I received and the other is what I was expecting.

Our family has been going to Allen's for over ten years, but today was the last time. Their food quality has been dropping over the past few months. Today we had egg drop soup that was almost as clear as chicken broth, no flavor at all. We also had steamed vegetables and there was more cabbage than anything else. The rest was either dry or tasteless. I'm so sorry this has happened to what use to be the best Chinese in the county.

The food was awful. The hot and sour soup was neither hot nor sour and just bland. The egg roll had little if any meat in it. The moo shoo pork was way overcooked nearly meatless and just tasted bad. The waitress couldn't tell me the vegetables in a bean curd dish that I was curious about. When I ask for a carryout container the waitress came back with a box and shoveled the fried rice and moo shoo pork together in the same box. Consequently it was thrown away when we got home. The general attitude of the staff was one of intitlement. We won't go back!

Nice place to visit with family and friends! My first time visiting with family, the server was a little rough around the edges and bot patient with my elderly family members. Other than that I would recommend, the food was great!

After Allen sold I stopped coming here until July 2025. Service and food was good. Price higher = but there has been bad inflation the past 4 years = so the price matches other restaurants of these days.
