Al-Wahid Tandoor Express Meat & Grocery

We as a family have been going to AlWahid for last 16 years, excellent food and customer service. They have a nice grocery store and a kitchen, mainly for takeaways but do have seating arrangement for 3-4 people, Incase you want to enjoy the hot food right there 😀. If you want to start your day with a nice omelette, hand made paratha and tea, this is the place to go OR over the weekend their halwa puri is really good as well. All other menu items are authentic, delicious and worth trying. The portion size is also generous. Biryani, Tawa Qeema, Chicken or Goat Qorma, Chicken Handi, Kofta, Goat Pulao, Bun Kabab, are just few items to mention which we love to eat and order often. They also do catering orders for parties which we have tried several times and have had an excellent experience. T

AL-Wahid is not only a grocery store but a restaurant/take out and a halal butcher shop too. We stumbled upon this little hidden gem while looking for a different place than the norm to try puri halwa. It’s a small place but packs all your needs in one stop. We ate there as they have a couple tables. We tried the puri halwa, omelette and chicken patty. We were very pleased with the taste, no greasy puri’s as they are made with flour. The aloo & chenna were not overly done and had a really nice flavor. The halwa was not overly sweet and tea was made fresh with REAL milk! Ali Sb is a great guy, there Biryani and Haleem are up to the mark, don't consider it as a supermart only they have great taste in the town.

Ordered their famous Nehari. Awesome dish and just crazy about it. Prompt service and served. Love the Nan and the Nehiri with their Yogurt Lassi. Now I need a bed to go lay down and take a nap. If you are in the area don’t miss the opportunity to eat here or just to go and enjoy it.

Its a hidden gem place and they have a great taste specially biryani nd nihari and the owner Syed Ali Sb is a great person.
