Akebono Sushi & Hibachi

Ordered delivery from Akebono and amazed by the quality. I have lived in Westchester all my life, have been searching for a go-to sushi place for years, and never quite found a particularly impressive place. Akebono completely surpassed expectations and delivered fresh, delicious, high quality rolls. I ordered the Fantastic Roll, Spicy Tuna, Salmon Cucumber, and Spicy Crab. Blown away. This will definitely be the place I order from when I’m craving sushi from now on.

Okay sushi, great service. They have an all you can eat menu with good kitchen food and some okay sushi options. We got the heartbreaker roll, seared tuna roll, Vegas roll, out of control roll, pink lady till and the Sakura roll. The tempura shrimp and crab in the rolls weren't crispy at all. And the seared tuna roll was supposed to have that both inside and on top of the roll, but there was only seared tuna on the top. Otherwise, service and ambience was great and ayce was $35, which is an average cost.

Your typical AYCE sushi spot. That said, they have the freshest fish I've had compared to other AYCE places but it's also the most expensive one I’ve been to. Gratuity is included in the check, though I’m not sure what percentage. For two people, with tax and gratuity included, the total came to about $90, so it’s definitely on the pricier side. Service was good. The green tea ice cream was high quality. Free street parking is available after 6 p.m. If you order any of their tempura, ask for the sauce on the side! bc it comes already drenched in tempura sauce and what seemed like sweet and sour sauce??

Excellent new Japanese All You Can Eat in Tarrytown! Nice and fast service, we went on a Sunday for lunch. Food was very good and super fresh! After Ichiro closed, this our newest favorite Japanese AYCE restaurant in Westchester, given them a try!

Excellent delivery and amazing all-you-can eat, I order from here often and it never disappoints. Fairly priced, consistent quality, good atmosphere, attentive service and a big parking lot in the back.
