The way we make shawarma is different but WOW this one is super delicious and very fulfilling. The pita bread is the true pita bread not the fake one you get from the grocery store. I would give this place 10 stars if I can because they care about every single detail

I’m one of those people who completely judges a Mediterranean spot by their falafel. If they can’t get that right, I usually don't bother with the rest—but Pita House in Tarrytown absolutely nailed it. It was incredibly fresh, and honestly, everything else we had was just as excellent. We went there for Valentine’s Day and it was exactly the right call. The whole place has this really cozy, low-key vibe that felt perfect for a night out. They also have a surprisingly amazing wine list that paired perfectly with the food. The staff is another huge plus—they’re genuinely cheerful and made us feel welcome the second we walked in. If you haven't checked this place out yet, you definitely should. It’s rare to find a spot where the quality and the atmosphere both hit the mark.

What a wonderful find. Excellent authentic food. The hummus was creamy, the falafel was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the shawarma was beautifully seasoned and the pita was soft. Authentic Turkish coffee and delicious baklava.

This place is amazing! My family and I enjoyed this place very much! The food was nice and fresh the salads were delicious and nutritious the Falafel was not dry like most places (in the USA) i can go on about it but really you will not regret this, we are visiting the area but I really hope we will come back again to this place.

We love this place! Super friendly service. Amazing food. Great location. They make their own pita bread, a seemingly rare thing among Mediterranean restaurants, and they’re sooooo bomb. The plates here taste legit homemade. Go here!
