We loved our lunch at this restaurant. The vibe was great, our server friendly and the food was extremely tasty and unpretentious! Very few Ethiopian places offer fish goulash and I highly recommend the dish here. Even the dishes in the veggie combo had a few extra elements like okra curry and a beetroot potato thingy. We had a perfect end to our meal with traditionally brewed Ethiopian coffee.

The interior is beautiful and colorful. Definitely a family owned operation. Been a while since I had Ethiopian but the veggie combo was super flavorful and actually enjoyed the injera bread! Also got the zilzil tibs - beef chunks with strong rosemary flavor. Very flavorful. Small parking lot.

Went 2 nights in a row because we liked it so much! Got a few different meat dishes and the veggie sampler. Everything was super delicious. The injera is great as well. Come hungry, you probably won't be able to finish it all! The only thing I don't recommend is the dessert, because of the language barrier we didn't really understand what we were ordering, and it turned out to be spicy injera, of which we had already eaten plenty! It wasn't sweet. Oh and the first night we came there was a gentleman playing a really cool stringed instrument I didn't recognize - but I took a picture!

Perfect combination of flavor, portions and service! Definitely coming back again. And again. The waitress/owner even brought me some special Ethiopian chili powder to sprinkle onto my food.

Lunch here today was really delicious, clearly made with care and the service was wonderful. Walking in, we discovered a cheerful, bright (strands of colored lights cross-crossing the ceiling), family-run spot. Within a minute we were seated, given bottles of water and had help to choose what to order. We ended up with the meat & veggie combination platters. It was a huge amount of food and we loved the combination of differently spiced and textured things to scoop bites from. The platters also came with an extra basket of injera. When we were finished, the server told us that if there is part of one of the combination plates that we don’t care for, the kitchen will happily replace it when we order next time. There’s a small parking lot along the side of the building. Highly recommend!
