ACES BBQ

Aces BBQ is a must visit when you find yourself in the greater Stanwood area. The food selection is top notch, and the quality matches the solid selection they offer. This restaurant is also conveniently located inside of Kayak Point Disc Golf Resort. My favorite disc golf course that offers 4 disc golf courses to play on, and one of them is a free 18-hole putt-putt course perfect for any skill level or age.

Delicious brisket, smoked on site with wood sourced on the property. The 1000 rated sandwich was indeed, 1000 rated. The sides were solid too—we had the potato salad and the Mac and cheese, and they serve their sandwiches with homemade potato chips and pickles. They were also sampling collard greens which were amazing. You can tell everything there is made with care. I really hope this place sticks around as it makes for a super satisfying meal after a round of disc golf.

4 beautiful disc golf courses, top notch sandwiches and other food. The Turn Key sandwich is delicious!! Great beverage selection too.

I wanted to like this place, family-run, nestled within the "clubhouse" of the Kayak Point Disc "Resort," but the brisket was so-so (and skimpy for a $10 sandwich) and the collard greens were served like soup (nuked in the to-go paper container?). Cornbread muffins were good, but the honey butter was just out of the fridge: unspreadable. All in all, the spectacular fall from grace that is the story of the Kayak Point Golf Course is capped off by a so-so Snack Bar.
