Acapulco Mexican Restaurant

Acapulco is our favorite local spot. The staff is always incredible and the food is absolutely delicious. Everything comes out quick and tastes super fresh, and the sangria margarita is SO good. We come here often and are never disappointed.

We stayed in a hotel near the restaurant and liked this place enough to eat here both nights. The food was good both nights but the service was outstanding. Different waiters both had excellent customer service skills. They were attentive and helpful without hovering, which made for a very enjoyable evening out.

I went in for lunch , seated myself in the bar area. Was approached immediately with a menu and water and chips with salsa. I decided to order the fish and lobster Gordita off the lunch menu and a margarita. The margarita came and was amazing!! They know how to make a good cocktail! When the meal came it was a very nice presentation. I thought the Gordita tasted really fishy. I was not impressed with the taste of it at all . I was hesitant when I ordered it but…. The total dining experience was a good one. I think I just ordered the wrong dish for myself.

I love Alcapulco, we always get the family platters. It's a great way to get a lot of food for our gatherings. But... the reason for 4 stars is the number of included taco shells are never enough. So you have to pay for more. We're always short by about 5 per platter. So again you're forced to pay for extras to finish the meat that's left. Almost like paying for a burger & only being given the bottom bun... other then that... we do still love the food. We just have to always add the additional cost of more shells...

The music is upbeat Mexico style. Server is what you would expect. Food arived on hot plates, that is great 👍. Shredded beef is seasoned well. I had the lunch wet burrito with shredded beef 😋 i added the seasoned cheese 🧀 nummy...
