99 Restaurants

Our server was great. Food arrived hot and tasty. Server was working hard and fast but took the time for each table. His name plate said Andrew. We don't eat out much but he was our server several b weeks ago and remembered us. (That I liked extra honey mustard with my chicken) I was very impressed.

My wife had prime rib which she said was "perfect". I had steak tips that were tasty, but a bit chewy. Cheesecake for dessert was delicious. Service was outstanding. Our server was Athena.

Ordered my food on the way home, arrived at 25 minutes as they said. My burger was good but a little dry and my fries somewhat cold. I wondered if they were frozen fries? I ate them as soon as I got in the car and it wasn't impressive. Middle was cold. Then my husband's fish entre. It was so chewy and didn’t smell tasteful. He said this was for sure microwaved and he declined the rest. We understand we ordered fish at a meat joint but I can't believe I spent $40 on this whole dinner I wish I waited til I got home for my own food.

Want to shout out my server, Mike B. He was attentive without being overbearing. He does his job well, and deserves to be recognized for it. I was there with my nephew on Sunday, 1/4

Burgers used to taste better because the buns were grilled. I've been going to 99 for 11 years. It would seem that there is nothing difficult in putting bread on the grill for half a minute. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case. I think the quality has already caught up with a fast-food chain. My second beer was brought to me in a small glass, even though I had asked for the same one; however, the bill stated 23 ounces. I didn't bother haggling; I think it was just a case of inattention. Overall, it's not bad, but it used to be better. The only thing I won't give up the chain for is Horseshoe beer.
