J B's Ice Cream Factory

The ice cream is good, but the employees never make you feel welcome, maybe it’s just me they don’t welcome but it’s very transactional and ice cream is supposed to be an experience. I also had an unsavory conversation with the owner so that ended up being my last visit. The scoops are also pretty small for the price, I would regularly go there for good homemade ice cream but now thankfully I have another go too ice cream shop in Agawam where the scoops match the price as well as the service.

Really great ice cream with lots of variety. They also have things like fudge and make amazing milk shakes. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is kind of unfortunate -- it's just in a strip mall with a gas station, convenience store, and some other busineses - no outdoor seating and rather limited indoor seating. I'd love it if they took over a few spots in the parking lot and made a little patio with tables and umbrellas. Overall it is the best place around that I've found to get ice cream.

JB’s Ice Cream Factory in East Longmeadow absolutely deserves all five stars! I tried the Caramel Churro and Reese’s Pieces Punch, and both flavors were out of this world. The Caramel Churro had the perfect balance of rich, creamy caramel and cinnamon-sugar goodness—like a churro dipped in caramel sauce, but frozen and even better. The Reese’s Pieces Punch was a peanut butter and chocolate lover’s dream, loaded with flavor and just the right amount of crunch. The staff was super friendly, the portions were generous, and the atmosphere had that fun, local charm. If you’re anywhere near East Longmeadow, JB’s is a must-visit!

Small place with great ice cream. Lots of flavor choices, with one obviously fake flavor thrown in for a giggle. Last week's was Sausage, Pepper, and Onion. Staff is always attentive. I bring my nephew here, and he's always glad to come. Well worth visiting.
