East Longmeadow Public Library

The library is well kept, clan and inviting. I come here often to do classwork and try to focus, but every single time without fail there is ALWAYS screaming, rambunctious children. Playing is one thing, but running, yelling and being obnoxious in a library used to be a no no? The real problem is the parents that never say a word, although I find it discouraging that nobody says a word to the parents, or kids to remind them that libraries are meant to be quiet places.

Went in at 3 and my daughter went to the activity center to draw a picture, there was one lady that kept coming in and out but not saying anything to me or my daughter so assumed everything was good. Then we started feeling uncomfortable she was telling us we could only use the crayons there even though there was markers scissors and colored pencils around. Btw we were the only people there. Then another lady came in and said they were taking stuff out of the room and then left. When she came back she brought back three other lady’s with her and didn’t even say anything to us and proceeded to take the one and only little table my child was using as she was using it !!! I was so shocked and my daughter was so confused. And they just proceeded to take things from the room and talk to each o

Really cool library. Very cool esthetic. The restrooms were very clean

Easily 5 stars. Lots of books from all different cultures and genres. I could go in a day looking for something random and minutes later it's in my hands. Great people who work there.

Great library in center of town, nice plaza too - next to Starbucks and Walgreens. I guess it's a pokestop now too.
