牛浪人 Wagyu Grill AYCE Barbeque, Sushi & Bar

Since my daughter went back to NY, I and my wife wanted to scout some new restaurants, we went to Milpitas shopping center and saw this buffet, the prices seemed to be reasonable so we went in. This place used to be other buffets before, it’s been changing many times, especially in a food center with all types of Asian restaurants. It’s difficult to find a parking space in a huge parking lot on the weekend. We had to wait for a good 20 minutes to get a table for 2, quite crowded. There are a few tiers for dining, we chose the least expensive one for $36. The server was quite attentive and pleasant, the salad bar is plentiful with things we like. Nah this was legit. Would definitely go again. It's a great price for both lunch and for the silver menu. All portions in a bowl are small, like the size of a small rice bowl. The clay pot is bigger, like 2x of those bowls. This allows you to eat a large variety of items. Of them, we found everything good and most great. The only miss really was the chicken karaage. You get beef fat to render onto the grill to get the leaner cuts nice. The salmon sunomono was great too but you need to want to eat lettuce. The jellies were great too. They have automatic salt and pepper grinder on the side and the salt there is flavored and tastes pretty good. The meat isn't marinated, which makes it so the grill doesn't burn as quickly nor will you get full as quickly. All of it needs some salt so make sure

A solid 3.5 *** rounded up to 4 **** I believe Wagyu Grill AYCE hasn't been around all that long, less than 6 months as of this review. This place used to be Xian Steam Pot & Yakiniku. I'm not sure why Xian "closed down". I don't know if the Xian restructured or changed owners. The interior is still exactly the same. It's a good size venue with ample amount of seating. Parking is not usually an issue as there is plenty of parking in the Milpitas Square Plaza. However, during peak hours and the weekends, completely different story. This place gets packed! I made a reservation for five people for a Sunday evening dinner at 6:00 PM. We got seated when everybody arrived. For the most part, everything was smooth. Considering their price range and service, 5-star all around. Came here during summer but it was a different type of restaurant back then, changed in leaderships I guess. Food: this time foods were better. Also they have QR-code online order now. Foods came out fast consider the place was half full when I got there. Service: attentive, love how they change the grilling plate every 8-10 mins for you, Atmosphere: nice decoration, clean restroom. Felt nice to be there.

Came here on a Tuesday around 4 and got the silver package. First off the service was great, very attentive, food came out fast, plates were cleaned just as fast. I got to try the fish and the meats. We didn’t eat much of the other stuff like the sushi & fried appetizers. The quality of some of the cuts were good and had good marbling, but some seem basic to me that were called wagyu. The seafood selection limited too to salmon and shrimp. I guess some places are doing this tier pricing now so plan accordingly. The decor and ambiance is amazing. Big tv, lots of fake fire lighting, lots of colorful lighting. I probably won’t come back.
