The restaurant has a very modern theme but the food is old school Hunan good! We ordered many dishes to try and not one was bad- see photos for all the delicious dishes ordered. Service was top-notch! And food came out fresh and quick. Will be back for more home-style tasting Hunan dishes as well as non- Hunan dishes - all are great tasting!

I had a great experience at Young and Rich NY. The fish head stew was the highlight—rich, aromatic, and deeply savory, with buttery, melt-off-the-bone fish that soaked up the flavorful broth. The stir-fried eggplant was perfectly cooked, soft and silky with a delicious savory sauce. We finished with a fresh dessert sampler that was on the house, a thoughtful and delicious way to end the meal. Overall, a memorable spot with standout dishes I’d happily order again. 🍲🍆🍰

I went because my hotel recommended it, plus, it was close by on a very cold night. I ordered the Tumeric Chicken at 50% spicy. The food was delicious, however, there was more bone and gristle than chicken. I asked about it and was told this was normal. They brought me a free desert I did not ask for and asked me three times to give them a review, so here it is. I would have traded that gooey desert for some edible chicken any day of the week!

The Hunan food here is really delicious, and I love that you can choose the spice level. It’s very friendly for people who can’t handle super spicy food. Everything we tried was flavorful, and the portions were generous. The waiters were also very kind and attentive, their recommendations were spot on. On top of that, they were playing techno music, which made the whole dining experience even more fun. Great food, great service, and great music. Highly recommend this place, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

This has got to be one of the best places to get Hunan cuisine outside of China. Be prepared to eat spicy at Young and Rich. Their service is top notch, when we arrived we waited about 10 minutes and then were seated in a private dining room. The servers were super polite and attentive. The food was great I highly recommend.
