The dishes are very flavorful with an authentic Sichuan style, especially the fish, which is crispy on the outside and tender inside. The dry pot pork intestine is well-seasoned with no unpleasant taste. The stir-fried long beans and eggplant are delicious and cooked perfectly. Portions are generous and great for sharing. Service is fast and the food is served hot. Highly recommended if you enjoy spicy Sichuan cuisine.

Really enjoyed the food here. The grilled fish was flavorful and the spice level was just right, strong taste but not overwhelming. The bullfrog dish was also very fresh and cooked well. The service was friendly and the atmosphere felt casual and comfortable, not overly commercial. A good place to come with friends if you like spicy dishes.

Good portions, flavorful food and decent prices. Staff was helpful too. Sad part is, their lunch specials dont include chicken anymore.

We had an amazing dining experience at Live Frog Restaurant! We ordered the signature grilled bullfrog — it was perfectly cooked, very spicy, and absolutely delicious. The stir-fried noodles were also flavorful and well prepared. On top of the great food, the service was excellent — attentive, friendly, and made the whole evening even better. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic flavors and a memorable meal in Flushing!

Loved this place! The bullfrog was super fresh and tasty, the Mapo Tofu had just the right kick and was so satisfying, and the deer antler mushrooms were crunchy and really fun to eat. Even the takeout packaging was neat and thoughtful—no spills at all. Definitely coming back!
