Zou Zou's

My husband had a bagel sandwich and I had a lemon crepe. I don't like giving bad reviews but both of our breakfast items were stale. We didn't complain... we just won't return. We were hoping to like this place... especially with seeing people's reviews, that led us to believe we'd enjoy our breakfast.

My wife and I stopped for brunch and wow, we found a gem! My wife went to culinary school and gave the crepe a 10. Her bagel sandwich was a 10, my egg wrap was a 10 and they even had mimosas which was great. I’ll be back for sure. Hard to find a place like this in small town Michigan. What a nice surprise.

We visit Chelsea Michigan every fall, to buy apples at Lessor Farms. We wanted to try a different restaurant for lunch. This place was amazing. The food was fresh and delicious. The chicken noodle soup was tasty and not salty. I also had the best scone I have ever had anywhere.!! I wish I didn’t live so far away!!

Zou Zou's has some really delicious sandwiches on their menu (+ they can all be made with Udi's Gluten Free Bread, awesome!) Our food was served quickly, and the staff here are really polite/accommodating. Highly recommend Uncle Paul's Reuben!

This review is based on two visits to this restaurant in the last week; and is being offered both as a customer and as a former dining room and nightclub manager. Their signature crepes (my wife ordered a savory version) were fairly tasty but a little bit too oily for our taste. During both visits the house coffee was decent but brewed a little bit too weak. I do appreciate the available cinnamon, chocolate, half and half, and simple sugar at the coffee station. Their corned beef sandwich is pricey and the portion is quite small. While the corned beef itself is pretty good (and is house made) it is very surprisingly not offered with Dijon mustard which is standard for corned beef sandwiches.
