Zig's Bakery & Cafe

Stopped in as I was passing through town and what a pleasant surprise! Loved the barn-like atmosphere but in a very clean way. Service was very friendly, the latte was tasty, and the baked goods we're delicious. There's is only one restroom, which is less than ideal, but it's clean. Hopefully I'll swing by again some day.

Today Zigs was very disappointing. Have been going there for many years and had been pleased in past. Salad had many pieces of brown lettuce and very wilted.This was takeout. and the usual roll that had came with salad was not in bag when I got home. I waited a very long time for the order. So long that the latte to go was barely warm by time I got the salad. Staff preparing food had hair hanging out and hands touching their body while preparing food. Demeanor and lack of attention to work by 2 fellows preparing food was inappropriate. Talking non stop about social/personal matters entire time while I and other customers were waiting. Much talk and often stopping work to talk back and forth about non work discussions. Very frustrating. Hope this improves. This is second time have encount

This is a self service eatery. You order at the counter and receive a beeper. It is a very casual, rustic setting. I shared a delicious chicken salad sandwich with my friend. You can easily share with a friend...plates are available. Bakery goods are available. It's a no frills, yet pleasant place to share with friends!

I stopped here for a quick dinner on a Wednesday evening in June. I have been here a bunch of times prior to this and can’t believe I missed doing a review before. I usually don’t have a meal here tho, I typically stop in for baked oatmeal or cookies to go when I’m in this area. In this occasion I had the Turkey pesto sandwich. It was good. The bread was very soft and tasted fresh. You order at the counter then go pick it up when your buzzer tells you it’s ready. Their baked oatmeal looks like a muffin and is wrapped in plastic so it’s easy to just grab and go. You can warm it up and as milk at home if you want. I just eat it as is. It’s always moist and flavorful. They have a curry chicken salad that is good to. You can get that in a container to go from their small deli case. They also

The cutest little cafe and deli! I don’t get to stop by often but when I do I’m reminded I need to make it a point to come and enjoy this place when I have more time. I had a delicious lemon poppyseed scone and an iced chai latte!
