Absolutely incredible. Came in on New Year’s Day for dinner. 20 degrees outside and this was the perfect place to have a delicious and hot meal. Got the steamed egg, beef/seafood tofu soup (soondubu) and pork soondubu. Super savory broth with plenty of seafood. Soup and rice came in boiling hot stone/metal pots. Friendly service and beautiful atmosphere! Will definitely be coming again and recommending to my friends.
YUP new favorite Korean restaurant just dropped. Did not have a SINGLE bad bite here. Service was so fast, restaraunt was quiet even when it got busy. If I lived closer I’d be here weekly for sure.
As a Korean, I can confidently say this place is one of the few places in Manhattan that serves authentic Korean food. Pleased to have tried the mango shaved ice dessert, which was amazing. Kong guksu (soy bean noodle) was very tasty for me, which shows that they are authentic.
We ordered the box meal and the portions are generous to fill up a big eater. The meat doesn't has too much marinated source like most Korean restaurants have. There is Tofu as a name but there aren't enough tofu dishes in the menu.
The place is nice. The location is good. The waitress came to take our order and then walked away. 8 minutes after taking our order she still had not asked what we wanted to drink. I had to finally ask her if I can get some soda and she still didn't ask my friend what she wanted to drink and started walking away. My friend got her attention and asked her to get her a soda as well. The food presentation was nice. The kimchi tasted good. The mashed potato was good. The beef bulgolgi was kind of bland and soupy. I wasn't a fan of the soup that came with my box. Overall it was cool. Unfortunately, I don't think I would go back again as my friend and I both agreed the food could have tasted better.
