I came here with my girlfriend on the recommendation of my siblings and we were not disappointed. We started the night off with a “Thai tea.” Although there was no Thai tea on the menu, our attentive waiter and host, Eddie, surprised us with his interpretation of a Thai tea. It was creative, balanced, most importantly - not too sweet. Our dishes included a soft shell crab, fried wings, massaman duck (my girlfriend’s favorite), and short ribs (my personal favorite). During our meal, Eddie again concocted a new drink with taro, which was also very refreshing. The overall experience was fantastic and, if I could, I would give them 10 / 5 stars. The food was unique and flavorful. Eddie mentioned they are still updating the menu, so I am excited for what is yet to come. I would highly recommen

Eddie is a culinary mastermind & wonderful host here at Pier 23. This is the spot for my family and I to attend for celebrations, a nice meal together, and whenever we want to chow down on the best curry-soaked ribs I’ve ever tasted. My favorite dish is the Mama’s Noodles- every dish is packed with flavor & great size as well. The Thai Tea with flambéed marshmallow on top is so creative & tasty. Eddie also treated us to a milky, citrusy matcha drink that was delicious! I hope to see it on the menu when I come back. Love to see local Chelsea eats getting the attention they deserve.

Pier 23 Nha is such a great neighborhood spot. The lobster fried rice was absolutely delicious — packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and clearly made with care. It also came with a side sauce that was incredible and took the dish to another level. Our waiter was incredibly kind and attentive, making the experience feel relaxed and personal rather than rushed. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, the kind of place where you immediately feel comfortable and want to linger a bit longer. It truly feels like a genuine neighborhood restaurant — warm, unpretentious, and run by people who care about what they’re doing. A perfect spot for a laid-back meal with great food and great service. I’ll definitely be back.

I like to describe Pier 23 as a neighborhood gem, and like elevated Thai food without the elevated prices and stuffiness. This restaurant is kids friendly, my children love coming here and they love the sweet potato dip and also the soft shell crab. Husband loves the bone marrow, short ribs and duck. I love also coming with friends (small group or big group). The food is delicious and it is a comfortable place to hang out. Drinks are also amazing. Definitely our go-to in Chelsea. The waiter Eddy is honestly one of the best waiters, very attentive and welcoming, remembers everyone's name and friendly.

What a gem! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is quaint and cozy… a little jazz in the background. The owner/part time chef is very friendly but back to the food… it’s really awesome. Definitely try the soft shell crab appetizer and the string beans just to name a few. Oh and the ribs😍
