Zhuang's Garden

We just had the most incredible dinner. My husband and I LOVE ZHUANGS!! They have the best sushi and friendly service!! We ordered at 4:01 PM and our food was delivered at 4:19 PM!! It was so fresh, we are so grateful for this restaurant and we rave to everyone about them! Thank you zhuangs 10/10!!

I can not say more about this place! What an amazing find on our drive home. We came across this place and their food was better than most places in Chinatown! The Sushi was so fresh and tasty! Great customer service and super fast service. All that and the prices were very reasonable!

This is the best place to go for sushi! I’ve been going there for years and I have never been disappointed. They have a large variety of sushi. They have a Chinese and Thai menu as well. I always enjoy their hot tea. If you love aged tofu, they have the best I have ever tried. I highly recommend going to Zhang‘s garden.

Not sure if this place fell off hard or we just hit them on a bad day. I used to get takeout Chinese here a lot. The menu is massive, which becomes concerning when you go in on a weekend and you’re the only table of diners the whole time. Everything was so disappointing. Egg drop soup had a rank smell. Fried wontons tasted like they were sitting out for hours– which they wouldn’t have been. So maybe they were over fried or the oil was old. The Pad See Ew had like none of the typical Thai vegetables in it– just a bunch of raw red onion and some bean sprouts. Bubble tea was nearly room temperature until we asked for more ice cubes. The hot and sour soup was good. The Japanese tea itself was good if the cup didn’t taste like the dish soap it was washed with. Overall just so disappointing.

Some of the best sushi and Chinese food, not just in Reading, but anywhere in Southeastern Pennsylvania! I've been coming here for over 20 years, and it's always great! The long-time owners are very nice as well! Don't sleep on Zhuang's!
