Zesty bites lives up to its name. The food is absolutely delicious. I had the Chicken Shawarma wrap and it was delightful! Tender, Juicy, Well-seasoned chicken, Crispy Fries, and Tangy pickles that cut through every bite. I truly can't say enough nice things about the food. The staff was welcoming and attentive. If you're looking for a great bite for lunch, look no further!
A couple of the dishes were really good - the kofta was so well seasoned and the chicken shawarma plate was great. I would definitely come back just for these dishes. While the ingredients tasted fresh, I would not recommend the tabbouleh (soupy and oily) or falafel (dry and incredibly salty). The hummus was good, but I would've liked to see the price be more at about $7 for the size versus $9 (about 1.25 cups). The interior is small and clean. There are some tables/booths inside if you're looking to scarf down your food onsite or a place to sit while you're waiting to-go. I would be interested to try their pizza next time!
The staff were polite and attentive. My friend and I ordered the Beef Shawarma Zesty Bites. The presentation and service were good but unfortunately we didn’t really like the taste of the shawarma. The fries were crispy and flavorful which we enjoyed. However when I asked for a sink to wash my hands I was directed to the Dunkin next door and because of that I’m deducting one star. That said I might still give this place another chance in the future.
Last year during the RI FOOD FIGHTS Lord of the Pies event, we stumbled into Zesty Bites and found something special that stuck with all of us. Imad runs this small spot in Providence where incredible Lebanese food and pizza coexist. His pizza has that perfect char on the crust, brilliantly simple sauce, and genuine hospitality that feels completely natural, not performed. So when this year's competition rolled around, I came back. Twenty-four places into this month's pizza marathon, we needed to know if Zesty Bites was a one-time thing or if Imad's really doing what I thought he was doing. Turns out, he is. Of course he is. The crust still delivers. Crunchy exterior, chewy interior. Imad's dough artistry hasn't changed. His sauce is fresh and flavorful, built from simple, super fresh ing
What a gem! First time there and will definitely be back soon. We got the chicken tawook wrap, chicken schwarma wrap, and baba ghanoush. All were DELICIOUS and fresh. Friendly guy working there and a comfortable, clean dining area to enjoy our lunch. I can’t wait to try some of the other menu items too. Check this place out, you will not be disappointed!!
