Providence Vegan Deli

Massive sandwich for $15. I got the not a Reuben and it had to be 16 inches long. I really liked the flavor of their Seitan meat, and it wasn’t dry. The bread was fantastic - it was an excellent crusty roll. However, the sandwich tasted off. I like sauerkraut and mustard so maybe it was the vegan cheese sauce that sort of ruined the flavor and prevented it from being an amazing sandwich. It looked gray and gross so this was probably it. Garden Grille right up the road still has the best Reuben-type sandwich I’ve ever had. I know PVDeli’s isn’t a typical Reuben sandwich because there’s no rye bread, but they should take notes from what Garden Grille does. There’s is out of this world!

I traveled 2.5 hours each way to eat here. I tried the Scooby Doo challenge (eat the 4 lb Scooby Doo Sandwich in under 30 minutes). I had a blast because, 1. The sandwich was delicious 2. The vibes in the deli were great 3. I was surprised by the price, that much yummy food would be way more expensive anywhere else Thank you, PVDeli!

Delicious vegan deli in Providence, connected to a delicious vegan ice cream spot as well. I love that this place has some of the classic cold cut sandwiches and many of the classic deli salad, like pasta and potato salads. Portions were also huge! They have a good variety of sandwiches. Every Sunday, they also have a special meatball sandwich. Can't wait to come back

Wow I am blown away! The price for these portion is something out of 2010, this type of deal just doesn’t exist anymore. The food is so fresh it’s visible; dated stickers, vibrant colors, and the immediate smell of herbs once I opened the containers. The sandwich was so big I could barely fit it in my hands!! It was the original reason I snapped some photos, but after tasting the food too I really am beyond happy. Fantastic people, incredible food, perfect Friday night. I can’t wait to order again!! Perfection. Can’t wait to return and try every single sandwich. We had the Italian and the Curly fig, both wonderful. Love having the vegan ice cream in the same building! Very good vibe and really appreciate the decor that hit close to home for my millennial heart.
