Overall experience was pretty good! For the price of their omakase, I didn’t expect too much but it was still pretty decent. Fish was fresh and the rice was warm and seasoned just right. However, all the fish sort of all tasted the same, like same flavor and texture. We came on one of the colder nights so it was pretty quiet with just us there. I would recommend!
I had an omakase experience at Zen Sushi Omakase and overall it was a thoughtful and well executed meal with a clear focus on fish quality. The progression of the courses felt intentional and balanced. Starting with richer flavors earlier helped keep the palate engaged rather than overwhelmed. The fish itself was consistently fresh and clean, with minimal seasoning that allowed the natural characteristics of each cut to come through. The chef was attentive and open to explaining the logic behind the sequence and preparation, which added depth to the experience. One highlight was the saikyo miso black cod. It was rich but not oily, with the fat well controlled and a smooth texture that lingered pleasantly. The power tower with toro, uni, and scallop was also memorable, delivering a satisf
I enjoyed every moment of this omakase. It wasn’t just a meal, it was a complete experience. Everything felt so comfortable and thoughtfully done, from the atmosphere to every detail of the service. The girl who attended us was incredibly kind and patient, explaining everything with such care that it made the whole experience feel even more special. And the chef… what a wonderful person. Friendly, warm, and genuinely passionate about his craft. He explained each piece with detail and even shared little stories behind every creation.
This is fun and affordable sushi omakase restaurant that you can enjoy 14 course for only $89. The chef was very nice and we enjoyed every bites like we are dancing. Their presentation is a top notch and the experience make me more than hundred dollars.
Every piece was flavorful and fresh and service was wonderful by the chefs. Complimentary sake at the end was a nice touch. Ambiance was great, but slightly put off by the sales technique with the iPad photos of extra pieces at the end. Other than that, it was perfect!
