Zen Sushi

The best sushi! Went here with my sister and brother in law and was amazed! The sushi was the best I've ever had. Fantastic presentation and design, flavor combination was to die for, no waiting to be seated, service personnel was professional and friendly without being overly obsequeous, food arrived faster than I expected it to, given the place was nearly full and we were seated at a table rather than at sushi bar prep area. Nice looking people all throughout the joint. There was a woman seated at the sushi bar that I fell in love with, but she was gone before I had a chance to say hello, so "hello" beautiful woman! I love you! So, of course you know I'll be going back every opportunity I have whenever I am in town, lol! Now grant you, Nashville has pretty good sushi here and there, but

Everything was fine I would steer clear of the baked lobster roll. It just didn’t seem right and I still paid 50% instead of the server taking it off the bill. The dragon roll was solid.

Zen Sushi is a go to for large specialty rolls! They are generous in all accounts. The sashimi and sushi rice are high quality. Great color in every fish. One thing that I can appreciate a lot is they do not load their rolls with rice. A lot of restaurants in the area will add extra rice to make the rolls seem big instead of actually offering a good amount of fish. My favorite: Kiss of an Angel roll, Sashimi Roll, Eri roll. Service and the chefs are fantastic. Friendly, quick, and they are good with large groups as well. Atmosphere is as nice or as casual as you want it to be. I’ve gone here with my wife on dates many times, dressed up and super casual. It’s a mix between everyone. So if you’re looking for a “nice casual” date then this is the perfect spot.

I’ve been going here for years and years. This staff is incredible. They are about to change management and I hope you keep all the same ladies that have been there for years. I get treated badly at so many restaurants because of how I look and they are always so kind and always have a smile on their faces when I walk in because I used to be a super regular. These are incredible women and I hope they stay if they want.
