Bruster's Real Ice Cream

I finally had a chance to check out Brusters for the first time to see what the hype was all about because I always saw long lines, and it did not disappoint! I got the Banana Cream Pie and Peanut Butter Cookie Made w/ Nutter Butter! Both were excellent! The texture of the ice cream was perfection! Super creamy and high quality. The service was very quick, attentive, and warm! I will definitely be back to try more flavors. :) The only thing I would’ve liked better is if the peanut butter chunks in the peanut butter cookie ice cream was more of a swirl or smaller since I had big chunks of the PB. It was still really great overall! :)

This is the place to go if you are in want of a hearty helping of cold, creamy goodness. The amount of ice cream in a small cup is more than enough to satisfy even the most urgent of ice cream cravings. Their oat milk based Graham central station could fool any dairy lover. It came with an abundance of dark chocolate chips which were a perfect addition, as well as graham cracker dust that added a nice crunch. The chocolate version is dairy based and equally delicious. No other pairing beats chocolate and ice cream on a warm evening! There is usually a line but it is worth the wait and there is lots of free parking available.

Bruster’s Real Ice Cream in Dana Point totally exceeded expectations—and I don’t say that lightly because I’m very picky about my ice cream (usually a Bacio di Latte loyalist!). But this spot? It’s legit. I ordered the peanut butter and Oreo combo in a crispy cone, and not a single bite was spared. It was creamy, not too sweet, and packed with just the right amount of mix-ins. You can tell it’s made fresh—real-deal ice cream that hits all the right notes. But the real standout? The service. The team was so warm and attentive, going out of their way to make sure everything was just right. They even surprised the kids with mini scoops on the side, which totally made their day. Great spot to grab an ice cream after dinner (or before dinner, or before and after!). They have some really great flavors and we tasted several. They were all excellent. There wasn’t a long line when we got there at 9:15pm, but soon after a small line formed. I am sure at other times during the day and also all the time in the summer there will Likely be long lines. The service was very good and efficient. Really enjoyed the experience and glad we picked this over desserts at our dinner spot.

Came here and tasted so good! I got the Blueberry Cobbler and the Chocolate Chip cookie dough in a waffle cone and it was incredible. They even brought out my ice cream in a plastic holder so i didn’t drip all over my hands which was super nice of them! They were very prompt in serving the ice-cream and had a cool vibe going on around the store!
