Zach and Lou's Barbeque

I've been twice. Very good quality BBQ, especially for CT. The staff are friendly. I think an extra $4 for brisket or ribs is a little steep. Otherwise, the prices are fair. There is ample parking on the side of the street. The portions are larger than other BBQ places around here. They offered pickled onions or jalapenos for $1 when I went. Outdoor seating available. I don't think there's ever much traffic on the road, so it's probably pleasant on a nice day. Two meats and two sides was $27 after tax. Highly recommend. Just passing by and decided to stop. Im happy I made that decision to stop. Service was good food was great and there barbecue sauce paired well with food. I got the 2 meat 2 sides and it was pulled chicken and smoke sausage with Mac and cheese and corn bread. I would tell people to come by and sit. They also have outside seating. They are closed for the colder winter months I believe ends October 5 and open from March on. But if you get a chance check them out.

This is a hidden gem. We were riding bikes on the Sue Grossman Still River Greenway. The restaurant has outdoor tables and chairs in the back that are right next to the greenway. We locked up our bikes to the fence there and went in to order. We both had a pulled pork sandwich. It was outstanding! The sides were all delicious, especially the beans. We also had potato salad and coleslaw.

We had stumbled upon this place while we were out taking a drive . I'm so very glad we did. Everything is absolutely amazing especially the mac and cheese i love the fact that they use shells instead of elbows. The pork belly burnt ends yummy! Absolutely will be going here again and again.

Had a very nice bbq lunch with my cousin this month. We split a two meat combination of brisket and pulled pork. Sides were potato salad and mac and cheese. Their meat selection was limited late afternoon on a Saturday and they were out of a few options. We sat down by the window and dug in. The potato salad was delicious, highly recommend. Creamy, flavorful with a nice hint of herbs. The Mac and cheese was also very good and was homemade. The pulled pork was very tasty although not very smokey. It was very tender and was the winner of the meats. The brisket was also tender but lacked a ton of flavor and smoke. As I see brisket as a bbq spots crowned jewel and a measure of their craft, there’s room for improvement here. The atmosphere was fine. Some tables inside and out with limited f
