I recently visited this spot in Torrington, CT, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting and comfortable, setting the perfect stage for a great meal. The service was prompt, friendly, and attentive—our server made sure we had everything we needed without hovering. But let's talk about the food, because it was exceptional. The wings are truly the star here. They were exactly what you hope for: incredibly crispy on the outside and packed with flavor. This place is a hidden gem, tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood. The dining room is cozy and inviting, the staff and owners are super friendly. Very impressive tap list with lots of local brews and nice variety. The food is spectacular! I was very impressed with the charcuterie board, and the prime rib dinner was on point. Definitely coming back to try more of the menu.

A Hidden Gem Worth the Drive! We went to The Store in Torrington, CT and LOVED it! When we pulled up, Roger (the owner) greeted us outside and directed us where to park. For a second, I honestly thought he was just a friendly guy drinking a beer in the lot, being helpful. Nope he’s the owner, and yes, he sets the tone immediately. Inside, the bar was big, comfy, and had that “you’re one of us now” vibe. The atmosphere? Awesome. The food? Even better. And the people? REAL. Refreshingly real. Amy was our waitress and we absolutely adored her. My husband is a wise-ass (he thinks it’s charming), and she gave it right back to him without missing a beat. My kind of woman. I visited this bar for the first time today, and there’s just something about a true neighborhood spot that makes the whole experience feel so much cozier and more comfortable. I ordered a dozen wings for takeout, after stumbling on this place from a Google search. The wings were great! nice and crispy and BIG I’m a tough critic when it comes to chicken wings, and these are def the best you will find in Torrington. . My only wish is that they add a sauce with an insane level of heat, because I love my wings very spicy. The girl who handed me my order thanked me by name which definitely made the experience more personal. Most places are very transactional and don't do that. I'll be back! Next time i think ill grab a seat at the bar. It looked so cozy!

I came to The Store due to the reviews about the Prime Rib. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Asked gur medium and it was perfect. The edges were charred just enough to give extra flavor and texture. The mashed potatoes that came with it were delicious and super creamy. The bartender was busy but not too busy to greet every guest walking through the door. She was super pleasant and explained how they have rotating local beers. The owner was active in the restaurant, setting tables, greeting customers clearing tables, whatever needed doing. She was also very friendly and stopped to chat with me about the food, service, the town, her husband and his story behind the name of this quaint place.
