Yummi Yummi Chinese Restaurant

My General tuso was ordered Not Spicy Hot . It was Burning my mouth from the one and only bite i could take. The Egg Rolls , HORRIBLE. No Taste at all ..Pork fried rice was plain brown rice . wasted a hour ride and $45.

My first time was yesterday, it was horrible I ordered sweet and sour chicken, I told the lady that I didn't want my chicken in a batter, now look yah di lady fried the chicken in a batter, when I skinned the batter off the chicken there was no chicken just flour batter, I was so mad, luckily I had some Curry chicken left from that awesome Jamaican restaurant Jamrock Kitchen on 63rd and Girald, I just ate it with that, please do not waste your money and buy food at this place is terrible

This place sucks! I ordered online for pickup at a specific time. I get there at that time however everyone is getting their order before me. I finally get my order and the order number doesn’t match mine. I say this isn’t mine. They insist it is so I just take it. When I get in the car taste the food and realize they gave me brown rice instead of fried rice. So I go back in there and the lady argues with me that it’s fried rice. I tasted it and it’s plain brown rice! It also has no soy taste or onions. Nothing that could convince me it’s fried rice. I ended up just asking for a refund. The lady was arrogant and wrong and instead of just fixing it she decides to argue. So I’ll never go back.

Yummi Yummi is our go-to place for take out Chinese food. Being vegetarian, I can always find something I hadn't had in awhile, or go with an old stand-by like General Tso's Tofu. Prices are great and the service is very quick...can't ask for much more than that from a take-out spot.

Spent $25 on 2 platters. One was beef chow mein, which as we know chow mein refers to the flat noodle as opposed to lo mein which is a thicker noodle. I received beef with cabbage and celery. I called in and to my surprise I was met with an attitude and I was told chow mein is not a noodle. The fact that they felt it was okay to serve someone something different than what they ordered and paid for is sad and unacceptable. Horrible food and customer service! Save yourself a headache and order from elsewhere! AVOID!
