When a restaurant has a small, focused menu, you know you can trust them. They serve some of the best udon I've ever had. Both the hot and the cold were amazing and rich in flavor in their own ways. The hot takes a the more savory soothing route, while the cold stikes the perfect balance of sweet and savory—going bolder on flavor, which is my personal favorite. The texture of the udon is perfection though—the most satisfying chewiness, paired with such tender meat. The tempura flakes add a nice crunchy texture that rounds both dishes out with all the necessary mouth feels that just make you wanna praise the Lawd! It was a nice and cozy experience on a frigid day, well met by the warm staff. Shout out to one particular guy who just did not let anyone's glass be less than full.

Went to their location in seaport and wanted to try out their original spot! Absolutely delicious as expected! We got the spicy udon soup and their signature cold noodles as well. The broth was not too heavy or salty, and the noodles had a nice chew to them. A savory and very satisfying dinner!

This place was highly recommended to me and I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. This is some of the best udon I’ve had. They have a very limited menu and are known for their cold noodles. I tried the classic cold and spicy hot udon both with beef and onsen egg. The texture of the udon is amazing with a really thick, nice chew. The flavor profile of the cold and spicy hot was very different and both amazing. The cold had a rich and very fresh lemon flavor. The spicy hot was also rich and served with more soup and the dried shrimp gave it a strong umami flavor. My only negative was I personally didn’t think the onsen egg was worth it, especially in the spicy udon. Since onsen eggs are very runny, it quickly mixed in with the broth and I didn’t really taste it. I would have enjoyed a Aji

After a long session of bouldering with my friend, we came over to grab ourselves a bowl of udon. It was one of the best bowls we’ve ever had. For a Saturday night, the line moved quickly. The wait was no longer than 15 minutes for a table for two. I got myself a hot niku udon with an onsen egg for $20 while my buddy had a vegetarian udon for $14 (will update if I remember what it was). We admired the chill vibe, the presentation, and the service! Even though the portion size was not enough to make us full, we were more than satisfied. Please come check this place out! The fact they focus on one thing and one thing only—udon—says a lot about their maturity, and it damn well shows.
