Yuk Jun Gui - Galbi, Fresh live eel, Makchang

We had set #2. Everything was very good. The beef abomasum was crispy outside tender inside. Wayyy better than gopchang story. The grilled eel is a must try. Crispy skin and very soft and savory meat. The auntie also gave us a lot of fresh kimchi for side dish.

Authentic, Korean hole-in-the-wall with both classic and unique dishes to try. From pork belly & galbi to eel, duck, and intestines, there's something for everyone. We especially especially enjoyed the set menu with the beef stomach & duck that came out with some delicious complimentary sides like steamed eggs & soup. Delicious banchan and amazing service. Highly recommend!

I recently visited this Korean restaurant and was truly impressed. The food is delicious and tastes just like authentic home-style Korean dishes. Every bite was full of rich flavors, and you can really tell that the ingredients are fresh and prepared with care.

This is a real gem of a place. Delicious Korean food in a non pretentious environment. Husband and wife runs this amazing homemade, home cooked style homey restaurant. Best food and service, period. They really make you feel cared for when you dine here. Friendly, non attitude and always service with a smile. I loved the authentic Korean dishes served here, especially their banchan accompaniment which is very addictive. Will definitely come back and enjoy more of their reasonably priced set menus. I wish I could give this place 100/5. 1. Meats: delicious and fresh. Seasoned ones have a very home-y feeling. 2. They have great raw dishes like the crab and tartare. 3. Eel is super fresh and has great texture. 4. Amazing banchan and maybe the best kimchi in NYC. She’s also extremely generous with the amount she provides. Every time I’m here it’s a hit.
