Yoder's Guest House

One of out favorite overnights on the GAP ride. Chuck and Denise are excellent hosts and their property is fantastic. Breakfast was wonderful. If you are riding, you can do laundry here which is an added perk. Everything you need to get your bike cleaned up, aired up, and running smoothly is available. The ride/walk up the hill will get your heart pumping for the day but was worth it. Would stay again without hesitation.

Three of us stayed here while biking the GAP trail. Hosts were friendly and welcoming, room was spotless, breakfast delicious. Very bicycle friendly with secure storage, pumps and tools, hose to rinse off mud, charging outlets. We appreciated the opportunity to do laundry, take some snacks, and especially the location - ice cream shop right across the street! We watched that night's football game in the common room, and met other cyclists passing through. This is easily your best choice in Meyersdale.

Denise, You provided a wonderful finale to our ride from Pittsburgh! Thank you so much for your generous hospitality. You greeted us before we even got off our bikes, provided excellent stables for our trusty steeds (aka bikes) and wonderful accommodations for our weary bodies. We were so appreciative of your comfortable common rooms and delicious breakfast too. An easy retreat from the miles of riding. We hope to return soon! Suzy and Robert

We had a great experience at Yoder's Guest House! They are so dialed in to meeting the needs of bicyclists on the GAP trail. There was a great set up to hose off your bike and gear if it has been raining (we had that) and his locked garage for storage was stocked with a large assortment of tools, bike parts you might need, rags, and plenty of saw horses to lean your bike on. The room was nice, and even though we were on the street, it was really quiet. The house was only about half full, but we didn't hear any noise from other guests, either. The breakfast was outstanding for a solid start to the day! They noted I am vegetarian, and instead of sausage links I was provided a lovely compote of Greek yogurt and granola to go along with the egg dish, coffee cake and fruit. It was promptl

14 of us have been biking the GAP trail and stopped here for our last night’s stay. We couldn’t have been more happy with the accommodations! The owners were so welcoming when we arrived, leading us to a place to store our bicycles. The rooms were lovely and comfortable, the owners friendly, and the breakfast delicious! Highly recommend if you find yourself in Meyersdale!
