The Inn on Main Bed & Breakfast

My wife and I spent a night for a quick get away. The owner, Mo, was great and accommodating. From being sure we had everything we needed to restaurant recommendations to making us aware of travel conditions. The breakfast was really, really good! Comfortable bed, nice bathroom (good water pressure in the shower!), charging cables for devices, smart TV just to name a few things we really took note of. This place is very clean and well kept. Great atmosphere and all around cool vibe. We could tell that Mo really cared for this place and the guests stopping in. Trains do run through every so often but Mo has made sure the rooms have sound machines and even provided ear plugs. With that said, my wife and I hardly noticed, didn't utilize any of these items, and had a good night's sleep. Lookin

This is without question the best place to stay on the GAP trail. I've stayed there three times and will every time I bike the trail. The owner, Moe, is an incredible host and a great cook. The dinners and breakfasts he makes are outstanding. There's a fridge with drinks. The rooms are clean and comfy while keeping the feel of a beautiful old house. Ask him about its history. It's interesting. And why the bike garage is called the Toole Shed.||As everywhere you stay on the GAP, there will be noise. Trains run 24 hours through town only a few blocks away. Stay here if you are stopping in Meyersdale! If riding the GAP this Inn is at the top of the hill, right by the old train station, everything else is down the hill. The Inn is clean and tidy. There is on site LOCKED storage for your bike and any gear you don't need to take to your room. We only had breakfast in the morning, but it was amazing, I wish we have had dinner there as well. Moe is a gracious host, very friendly and knowledgeable about the trail and a rider himself. I can't say enough about this place! I will surely stay here if I ride the GAP again.

Just completed Pittsburgh to DC on the GAP/C&O. I stayed at two B&Bs during my ride and The Inn on Main B&B was so much nicer than my other stay. I highly recommend The Inn on Main. My room had a noise maker, plenty of charging cables, a table to organize my gear on and so many other little thoughts that made it a more relaxing stay. The owner is a cyclist and does a great job catering to the cyclist staying at The Inn.

We stayed here one night while cycling the GAP. Mo has done a wonderful job decorating this place. There is good bike storage, and a place to clean them if needed (which we did after a day of rain). The bedrooms are equipped with charging cords and noise machines. Breakfast was excellent.
