Red Lantern Bed & Breakfast

My partner and I loved Regina at the Red Lantern. Of all of the places we stayed along the GAP trail, Regina was the most hospitable and it seemed like the accommodations never stopped with every item you could think of to take care of us during our bike tour. At no extra cost, she had an outdoor bike wash/bike maintenance station, laundry machines, and even a large collection of toiletries, charging stations, and a massage chair for us to use. She also gave us really important info about a closure on the GAP trail that we wouldn't have known about otherwise. She was also lovely to chat with. I'd absolutely stay at the Red Lantern on my next GAP trail trip!

My brother and I had a truly wonderful stay at Red Lantern BnB last week. I really can't think of anything that Matt & Regina could have done to make our stay better. We were greeted w fluffy dry towels and snacks when we pulled our bikes around the back of the house. Everything you normally need to clean off & clean-up your bike was at your fingertips. Basic tools, pump, chain lube etc. Host Regina was just fabulous, got us settled in & taken care of in short order. Very spacious, comfortable rooms w every amenity that I can think of. Great Shower & just a great place to relax. We walked the short walk down the hill & grabbed a good dinner in town. Others have mentioned the breakfast, it was easily the best of our whole week. Amazing bed and breakfast. Regina thought of everything. It was super clean and comfortable. She gave great dinner recommendations and made us a lovely breakfast with local syrup. Very close tho the GAP trail. It is close to the train tracks so you do hear the trains, but other than that 10/10!

My family stayed here the last night that two of us were biking the great Alleghany passage and had a great experience here. Regina was awesome - very friendly, accommodating, helpful, and service-oriented. She went out of her way to be helpful, breakfast was great, and we appreciated the friendly service!

Stayed here 3 nights with my family (husband and 2 young adult kids). The initial attraction was that the B&B is gluten free, which is not easy to find. It is also a short bike ride away from the GAP trail. We also visited Kentuck Knob/Ohiopyle, which are an hour away. The location worked really well for us. Regina is a fantastic host - so helpful and responsive! The inn is very well outfitted for any visitors, and especially bikers - with coffee/tea/water/ice, snacks, rags to clean bikes, hose, covered bike parking, bike oil/grease,... Regina offers gluten free box lunches as an add on; since gluten free options are very limited in the area, we had them each day, which was very helpful.
