I recently tried Yang Guo Fu Malatang and had a great experience. The best part is being able to choose your own ingredients, which makes the meal very personalized and fun. There were many fresh options like vegetables, meats, seafood, tofu, and noodles.

It is like a small precooked hotpot. Hearty food to have in the cold and rain. The classic bone soup base is rich and flavorful. You can pick your own food. So the flexibility to just have protein and veggies are my top reasons to have a quick meal here. The atmosphere is casual and the seating is not the most comfortable. And I don’t really like they mix meat and veggies in one bowl, although at the end everything will come together.

Why did it take me so long to try YGF? 🤯 This place is a gem! The restaurant is spacious, clean, and incredibly well-organized. I was impressed by the wide selection of fresh vegetables, proteins, and carbs — all customizable with your choice of soup or dry base for $16.99/lb. It’s easy to get carried away with so many delicious options! My bowl came out to exactly a pound, and it was totally worth it. Flavorful, satisfying, and fun to build — I’m definitely coming back for more! 🥢🔥

I would like to share my recent experience ordering takeout at your restaurant. Unfortunately, the service we received was very disappointing. When my friend and I placed our order, the staff member (the young man with white sweater shirt work on Monday 19th) assisting us spoke in a rude manner and did not offer basic courtesy, such as saying thank you. When my order was ready, a staff member handed it to me. However, when my friend’s order was completed, it was placed on the counter without being handed to us. The staff then appeared to gossip and look at us instead of notifying us that the order was ready. We waited for quite some time before approaching the counter ourselves to check the order number. Even then, the staff member simply stared at us with an unfriendly expression and show
