Yeadon Public Library

I went for a meeting. My church group had a training in a small conference room. We were able to set up our visual equipment for our presentation and we had space for a sign up table which doubled for our coffee and snacks area. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I recommend them!!

Good evening Google Family. I haven't been here in years. However, when I used to visit, I was always able to use the computer. I liked that you checked in and out and you had a specific time period to use the computer. The librarians and the associates were always so helpful and efficient. Always a good experience here. Most of the librarians are rude and always have some type of attitude towards people it's probably like one or two that are actually nice. I remember once when it was raining outside and one of em tried kicking me and my friend out because she claim that we was talking to loud but none of the other librarians said anything to us about being loud or the other people that were there and I didn't leave because I was going to stand out in the cold and rain so she called the cops for no reason😂😂 like I didn't get in trouble at all so I didn't care but I walked in the next day and some lady was yelling at someone on the phone and had it on speaker but all they did was look at her and when I was on the phone I was in the back and NO ONE heard me I was quiet as ever but they just saw me with the

The environment is serene and quiet in the morning and I could read well. However it became so noisy when the children finished from school and stopped by and the Librarians did nothing to control them and even adults picking calls. This place is not a library (call centers,day care) between 2pm and 6pm.

Great place to go. The librarians are knowledgable and pleasant. It is a shame that sometimes they have to be police officers instead of Librarians. At times you would think that you are at a day care instead of a library. They shouldn't have to tell people(adults also) to put your phone down or turn it off or take the call outside. Things such as that along with the occational loud talking can make their job very difficult but overall l think they do a wonderful job.
