Aunty K's West African Restaurant

I had an amazing experience at Aunty K’s Restaurant in Philadelphia! I ordered a variety of dishes and drinks, and everything was absolutely delicious—rich, authentic flavors that truly hit the spot. I also had the opportunity to meet the owner herself, Auntie K, and when I tell you she is not only beautiful on the outside but even more beautiful on the inside, I truly mean it. She took the time to sit with us, talk, laugh, and crack jokes. She was incredibly warm, friendly, and even surprised me with an extra bottled drink added to my order. The environment was super clean, the hospitality was top-tier, and I would not hesitate to go back again. This is coming from someone who once owned a small restaurant and understands the effort it takes to provide this level of service. Thumbs up,

Amazing spot, glad I got to stop by on my layover in Philly! The food was delicious, customer service was superb sadique was very courteous and friendly, the restaurant was clean, again the food was really delicious!

During my recent visit to Aunty K's West African Restaurant, I had a great experience. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, with a few tables and chairs for customers to dine in. The daily menu and prices were displayed on chalkboards behind the counter, making it easy to decide what to order. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Sidique came out from behind the counter to greet me, which made me feel welcomed. Although my favorite cassava leaf soup was unavailable on this visit, Sidique assured me it would be back on the menu soon. As an alternative, I decided to try the Peanut Butter Soup. The Peanut Butter Soup was delicious. Its savory taste balanced the slight sweetness of the peanut butter. The soup was rich and hearty, with stew chicken and beef. It was served with

Aunty K’s fried rice and mackerel were really good! You can taste the pepper and it was a lot of food. To my pleasant surprise it came with fried sweet plantains and a very spicy pepper sauce (use with caution). The lady at the counter was polite and i waited and watched their tv as they prepared my food.

Food was amazing. I got the fried mackerel and jollof rice. I have been craving it ever since.
