Yanagi Sushi

Taste :4.6/5 Environment: 4.3/5 Service：4.5/5 Japanese technique meets Korean soul — Yanagi Sushi is chaos, magic, and thick-cut happiness. The chef Way too generous. Sashimi sliced so thick We went for the omakase, sashimi platter, and black snapper carpaccio — every bite felt like a flavor unboxing. Sauces, twists, surprises… I was literally sitting there waiting for the next plot twist. If you want sushi that’s fun, bold, and outrageously generous… Yanagi Sushi is the spot.

Ordered salmon, yellowtail, ikura, rainbow roll and philly roll. Everything was very good. Only caveat is that the rainbow roll wasn’t traditional in that it had a sauce over it. If you like it traditional then ask for no sauce.

My new sushi 🍱 🍣 !! The service was Phenomenal, Chill Atmosphere, and I’ve saved the best for last the Food is soo amazing 🤩 so fresh and tasty. The bonus was the price , my pocket was happy.

The sushi here is really good. We’ve dined in, but this last time we had takeout The ratio between rice and fish is perfect and unlike other places they give you a good amount. Everything we’ve had, has been very flavorful. The only one thing was the pokey had way too much juice. I prefer to eat the fish not so soaked. Overall, it never disappoints.

I had an amazing experience at Yanagi Sushi in Northridge. The fish was super fresh—some of the best I’ve had in the Valley—and the rolls were packed with flavor (highly recommend the Honma Roll). The vibe is cozy and lowkey, and the staff made me feel right at home. You can tell it’s a place that cares about quality and their regulars. Definitely a new favorite spot. @sushitraveler
